Keren Kroul is a large-scale watercolorist who grew up in Mexico, Israel and Costa Rica. Her most recent body of work, Charted Memories and Thought Formations, is inspired by her recollections of growing up in these places, in which she creates a map of who she is and where she is from. The abstract forms and colors in her work are also inspired by nature, brain scans and everyday objects.
